I was due my inspection two weeks ago and on the morning it was due the inspector phoned to say that she would have to cancel because she was unwell which was of course is unfortunate. Although no-one wants an inspection, I had got myself stressed out and was really upset when it was cancelled.

Anyway, arranged another inspection for today (because I only have one EYFS child once a fortnight) and last night I had a call to say it had to be cancelled again because the inspector was off work again.

I just feel so deflated at the moment and although I know I should be grateful that I will have another 2 weeks to prepare, I just want it over and done with!

Has this happened to anyone else or have I just been unlucky?

Oh i know full well that deflated feeling.

My first grading inspection was a nightmare to book. 1st date - inspector called in sick, 2nd date she was called into a meeting, 3rd date she scheduled it wrong in her diary and then got called in to a meeting anyway
4th date they sent a different inspector so that it didn't get cancelled again! My latest one they actually turned up when they promised to.
