Hi had my inspection and just wanted to pass on what her main points of interest were. She graded me 'good' in all areas except working with parents which was 'outstanding'.
Her big bug point was working in partnership with others. I only have one that attends another setting, he's in reception class and although I explained my links in place with his teacher I stupidly mentioned he also attends after school club 1 day a week and I consult with them, so that was her big recomendation.
She was also very into risk assessments and safegaurding and made a big point about my fridge not being clean enough (my fault, I forgot to clean it but it wasn't un-hygienic).
Other than that it went fine and wasn't really worth panicking about

I'd be struck off if she looked in my fridge  Well done!!
Its all very well expecting us to work in partnerships with Nurseries/Schoolies etc, but it always seems to be the cm that has to do all the chasing :( but to be fair most schools/nurseries etc haven't got time to spend chatting to us about individual children anyway!!
Well done.
I'll note that one about the fridge. I would have to definatley clean mine, to ensure it was 100% spotless!!

Well done you! :clapping:
This working in partnership thing is coming up a lot at the moment.
It is very hard when other settings do not want to work with us... we can only do our best. Just document everything!!
I'd best get my cleaner in every day for a week before Ofsted come just to make sure!

Well done for getting through your inspection. See you got outstanding for working with parents - that was my area for improving. They always have to find something for you to improve on and to be honest I really think we shouldn't be expected to be jumping through hoops for school aged los spending most of their time with another setting!
