will the p per mile allowance increase?? :(
I doubt it...it has been .40p a mile for years and the price has increased and decreased between then and now...
I think it should though!

I asked my accountant when it went over £1 litre. She laughed.
Apparently it has been 40p for eons and isn't likely to change.
I suppose what they could do to compensate would be to allow us to put through Car Insurance and Car Tax on top of the 40p per mile.

I did bring this up at one of the NCMA regional forums as I am finding that my mileage costs just about covers the amount of petrol I am putting in so it no way goes towards helping with the maintainance costs. Suggest others bring up at regional forums under the open forum
