I had the phone call yesterday afternoon (the same day all our new, flat packed, bedroom furniture arrived AND our offer was accepted on a house!)

So, last night was spent building all the new bedroom furniture (wasn't going too as, contracts depending, we will be moving soon BUT as it was being stored in spare room I didn't think inspector would like it so dragged my poor partner and two best friends into building it with me! :D ).

I managed to put the inspector off coming next week during half term as I am only working one day and I said it wouldn't be fair on me or the children to be restricted by our activities due to the inspection - she was absolutely fine with this :D So now she is coming Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday the following week (w/c 28th feb)

I need to go over a couple of risk assessments and update a couple of children’s journals; does anyone else have any tips/advice or double checks for me?!

Thanks in advance :) xx

Make sure you know your safeguarding policy and procedure backwards... and make sure everything is signed that needs to be.

Read through the Eyfs statutory framework and make sure you can tick yes to doing everything in it.

Good luck! :D

I totally agree with the safeguarding, make sure you know the address for social care or the number for them, someone in my area got pulled up for that. At the moment the inspectors are hot on risk assessment.
Good luck I am sure you will be fine

The safeguarding and risk assesments make sure all your paperwork is up to date. Sarah right go through the stat framework and make a list so you can tick it off then you know your all prepared.
Good Luck:)
