I heard someone once say ' I am an outstanding childminder - with good paperwork ! '
An outstanding grade is nice but far more important is your relationship with the children and parents.
Give yourself a break !

I agree with twinkles. My parents all think I should be outstanding. Thats because the things I do for them provides them with an outstanding services in their eyes, not what Ofsted think as outstanding. At the end of the day the parents pay my wages and recommend me to others. Good is a great grading too!

I wouldn't worry about it - it's what the children and their parents think that matter.
Most of my work comes from parent recommendation and has nothing to do with my Ofsted grading.
An outstanding grade wouldn't be much use to me if I didn't have any work.

Being graded outstanding doesn't change anyone's personality! If you get on with them then keep on going.:)
You might find that they share tips with you or you/they might talk about something and think 'i might try that' and vice versa. That's what happens at our childminders group anyway and it means we are all still learning from each other.
