Hi :panic: I have my reg visit on the 25th and have been answering the questions in the preparing for your visit booklet.

Can anyone help me with this one when I look on the ofsted site I get totally confused
Here go's If you are applying to be on both registers Early years and childcare, have you considered if there are any differences between the requirments of the two registers. If so how might this apply to your service.

Any help would be no short of amazing xx

It just means if you are applying to be on both registers (early years and childcare), you need to check if there are any differences and how you will manage these in your setting.

For example when I applied there were differences between the registers for the complaints procedure, so it meant that I needed to have a different complaints policy/procedures for children under 5 and children over 5. This has changed since, and I have changed my paperwork but can't remember if there is still a difference, sorry!

Hope that helps a bit :)
