HI

Am hoping someone will be able to answer my question!!!:)

I am registered to look after 6 children, which two of these can be under the age of 5 plus my own son. I currently have all spaces filled and have found out that i am pregnant.

Was wondering if anybody could tell me what Ofsted will say regarding my numbers once the baby arrives. Will they say that I have to let one of my under 5's go?

Thanks Ruth

You can only have 3 under 5 unless you are able to get a variation...

You might find that things change anyway when you are off on maternity leave or between then and now.

I hope everything goes well for you! :D

Congratulations on your pregnancy.

I wouldn't worry about numbers yet, as Sarah says it may all sort itself out before you go back to work

firstly many congratulations on your pregnancy!

id leave it a bit then talk to ofsted!
How old are your minded little ones and how long are you having off with baby?
Id make sure your parents know sooner rather than later too so they have a choice and can make an informed decision about what to do!

its a fine line between the business and could you cope with 4 little ones under 5 as well, Im not sure I could??!!

good luck!:)
