Hi All
I got graded GOOD a year ago and since them I have implemented lots of changes in my setting as I am aiming for an outstanding. Do any of you know if I can request an inspection even though I am not due one for another 2 years?
Thanks

I don't think Ofsted are in the business of doing inspections on request but there's nothing to stop you asking, it would be interesting to see what they say

i don't think they do as some people mention that they were saisfactory but had improved their practice a lot but were still stucked with satisfactory for the whole time.

I would doubt it very much. The whole idea of inspections is to find out how you're doing and to help you achieve more as well as checking that you're doing things correctly of course

That’s not the way it works unfortunately, otherwise we would all be requesting them not to visit us until we are ready (in my case 2022 is looking good :p )
Ofsted regulate and inspect the providers (us) to ensure we are meeting the legal requirements, getting Good is meeting and exceeding the requirements- your provision is strong  - they have no need to re-inspect in this round of inspections unless they receive a complaint, or suspect that you are no longer meeting the requirements.
