hi everyone:)
i am going to fill in my CRB check , my question is do i need to send my passport and other original personal documents together with the form?
the problem that ofsted didn't send me the CRB guide and i don't want to call them to send me a the guide it will take 2 more days to came
hope someone will answer my question:)

when i got my 16yr old DD CRB, I was sent a verification form too - someone like doctor etc had to verify that she was who we said and check documents and ID. the verification form then went off with the CRB form.

did you get a form like this too?

I think you need the guide or make a quick phone call

As I remember I didn't send it off, I think the pre reg inspector checked the id and she took form away with her. Maybe it depends where you are.

just sent mine i sent crb forms, identification varification filled in by a professional who has know me for at least 2yrs and that person also has to look at and check your id then i put them all in envalope together with the original forms of id, i got my id back within a few days. ive just spoken to ofsted today and they said its all been recieved and is moving along nicely:clapping:

i allways think if in doubt send it all then at least they have seen it.

I've just done one for my son and we had to ask someone of Professional Status who had known him for at least two years. Def did not have to enclose the original documents. No way I'd trust ofsted with them anyway :panic:
