I have a 3 year old that is starting school in sept, but will only be doing mornings only at school for either 4 or 8 weeks depending on my school allocation (his birthday is august so will just be 4). i am taking on 2 children in may until end of august, a baby that turns 1 the week after i starting minding him all day mon - thur, and another 3 year old on a weds only (same situation as my son). So Ofsted ratios are 3 under 5, which i will have maximum of one day a week, so I can still take on another under 5 any day except weds?

Come Sep when my son starts school, is he still counted as 'Early Years' until he attends full time school?

I have had another enquiry but a bit unsure of my numbers!
Thanks x

You've got it spot on!

Once your 4 yr old is doing full time, ask Ofsted to change your certificate to reflect this. Then it will show that you can have 3 ealry years mindees.
