been minding since nov, got a feeling might have inspection soon. I heard they are v keene on safeguarding, obviously I have a policy, not been on course yet, what are the main bits I need to know?? don't want to fall on this hurlde!!

you need to access your own Local Authority safeguarding information and put their phone numbers into your paperwork. so contact your LSBC


you need to get hold of a copy of What to do if you are worried a child is being abused - thinl you can still get from the DofE publications site.

you need to formulate your own safeguarding policy in line with the above and what it says in the EYFS.

The NSPCC is a good site to go on to gather information as you need to show that you have a fair idea of the signs and symptoms and what to do.

Why do you think you might get a visit? When I had my pre reg I was told my next visit would be 6-7mths, I really hope they don't come before then, I have loads I still need to do! :panic:

I have only been minding 3 months and have had a call that I'll be contacted shortly for an inspection so be prepared as I am not.....
