Just had my first Ofsted Inspection and was happy to get a Satisfactory. (And 3 aspects of good) I so wish I had found this site sooner as it helped so much with final prep.
I knew I wouldn't get a high grade as I only have one mindee in the eyfs at the moment and he is only with me for an hour in a morning. But Mrs O said that she thought the activities the little boy and my daughter were doing this morning were perfect. She liked how he led the play and didn't let my daughter boss him around as she is older lol and she said she thought I had a fantastic relationship with him and that she could tell he has a great respect for me because I make him feel special.
She also praised my organised paperwork and said that she can see great things happening when I get more children on my role.
I am so happy and relieved I cannot put it into words.
Pheeeeew :D

Thank you! It does, doesn't it. I was in tears last night doing my sef thinking there was no way I could get anything other than inadequate so it just goes to show.
She had a chuckle at my sef as well! i can't think what I'd put that was even remotely funny lol

I was surprised at how much feedback she gave me actually. The comment about my paperwork made me feel much better as that was the stuff that was worrying for me lol

I don't think you're alone there! I was in floods the night before and my oh told me if I was gonna get upset every time I was to be inspected then there's no real point in me doing the job. Luckily I got a lovely inspector though and she really put my mind at ease :D
