Hi my inspection is due and I had a call from a company called Tribal who will be carrying it out. The inspector was call <name removed for confidentiality>. Just wondering if anyone else has come accross them yet and if they have any tips?
I unfortunately had to postpone my inspection as I broke my elbow last month and am still unable to work :( Now I'm thinking of getting back to it I'd like to try and get myself prepared
thanks for any replies

From what I understand most of Tribal's employees are ex-Ofsted! :D

Yes all inspections have been taken over by Tribal. Most are ex-ofsted.

I had someone from Tribal she was ex Ofsted. I checked her badge when she arrived, showed her everything in the hall as we walked through, got her to sign the visitors book, then showed her the pile of folders etc I had put on the table ready for her.
She only wanted the LJ's of the children that were present at the time. (she looked through everything else I had put out as well).
She asked me a few questions.
She observed me doing a nappy change.
She came up to the bathroom when a child went up to the loo (she didn't go into the bathroom until the child had finished having a wee).
She sat through snack and story time, I had to do our usual songs etc
She checked outside.
Then she gave me general feedback and told me what grade I would be awarded.
Good luck with yours, try to be yourself and work the same way as you normally do or you'll confuse the children and they may play you up.
Let us know how you get on

She phoned me again today, as I'm not working till Feb till she will come then.
Gives me some time to get sorted, will keep you up dated when the day comes :p
