She was very strict but very helpful and I have got an overall satisfactory with 5 areas good (safeguarding, relationship with parents and others i cant remember:o ) , she kept commenting about my daily diary , how much she LOVED that i wrote quiet a lot in there - she was amazed about my risk assessments.

i need to work on the planning bit , but I knew that.

am soo glad to have it out of the way and really pleased with myself with being german and fighting my way through the EYFS!!

a few tips from my inspection:

-do your sef. this was the main reason i got satisfactory because i didnt do it.
- she was very big on multicutural toys / resources and I definitely need to get some more.
-make sure everything in your first aid kit is up to date.
-she was very thorough on safeguarding. so make sure you know the ins and outs (i thankfully did!!)
and don´t worry about it it really wasnt half as scary as i thought!

have to say this did ruin my christmas a bit with knowing that she was coming..

well done glad its over now you can relax :)

Kimmy, you sadi she was amazed by your risk assesments - What do you do for them? I am worried I am not going into enough detail with mine!
