I have my pre reg visit tomorrow and I am very, very nervous!! Does anyone know how long the visit takes? and after this visit how long is it before O come? thanks in advance for your help

You will find that pre-reg is quite relaxed. Your inspector will want to talk about the Eyfs with you and how you intend to run your business so have a think about that.

my pre reg visit was really easy going.

she checked the house to see what i needed to change, ran through a list of items needed for a start up grant (which i didnt qualify for as i was previously a CM), talked about my ofsted visit, helped with any forms etc

i sent my ofsted forms off that day & had my inspection within 2 weeks, be prepared though as ofsted called my monday afternoon & arrived tuesday morning.

id recomend you get your house sorted & study the Eyfs before you post off the application as i was soooo unprepared, i only had my eyfs pack delivered the day ofsted called (it had been on order for 4 months :rolleyes: )

thanks for all your replies, but im slightly confused. Iv had a visit from my developmenatl officer and have had my crb and all other checks through and have posted my forms to ofsted. Iv got someone visiting for my pre reg visit, is that actually ofsted?
