katie has been so poorly all night. She hit a temp of 40.1 and her blood sugars went haywire:eek: :eek: :eek: . She is a little more settled this morning but is a bit confused.

Poor love has got it into her head she is still going to college this morning. I have just had to put her back to bed....she was wandering round her room. I had to laugh...she is 4 inches taller than me and there i was holding her hand saying "come on sweetie...mummy needs you in bed"...


temp is still 39.....and i am doing everything!:(

Hpw awful for you. One thing I found that worked in bringing my sons temperature down when he had problems was to run really cold water over the pulse points on the wrists it really seems to work. Wont hurt to try itxx just get her to hold her wrists under the tap if you can. Hope it helpsxx

So sorry to hear Katie had a bad night. No wonder she is confused with her blood sugars all over the place - I get confused too and feel rubbish (changed insulin recently - my blood sugars up and down like yo yo)

katie has just polished off a plate of fish fingers and oven chips, peas and bread (this was her choice of tea...not mine)

She is still very hot but lots better...not gabbling and wandering round. I can hear her laughing at the TV in her room....loudly! She has been facebooking all her mates so alls well chez parsleypetal.
