I emailed a variation request on 6th Dec. It wasn't urgent, so didn't worry too much about how long it took.
Anyway, I had a call this morning to say it had all been approved and a new certificate is on it's way to me. The last one I had took weeks & I had to keep chasing it, so I'm very impressed

think they must have made some changes...
my quickest one was....
15 minutes!! didn't even fill in a form, it was granted over the phone. but it was an emergency situation as my sister was poorly and I thought I would have to have her dd...

Sorry what is a variation, is it a change to your numbers? What are the requirements to get one?
Thanks

Often about increasing the number of children you look after but it means a request to change the conditions on your registration certificate.

That's fab!
I got mine on Friday, I'd put in for it the previous Friday so one week! Mine was urgent though and I did phone on Friday morning and ask if anybody had chance to look at it yet as I was closing for Christmas and wanted to get it sorted before I did so I could relax with my family. They phoned me back within 4 hours and it was granted.
I've had one granted over the phone in 15 minutes before too. Sometimes they are brilliant.
i had my variation removed last month but need to request a new one as mindee aged 4 his mum is at uni and her days have changed from jan so need a variation for a wednesday
