i have my first inspection Monday (grading) would i be mad to put on a christmas party for the children? my co-ordinator has told me the lady coming isn't very nice, is condesending and rude and has several complaints against her. should i try and break the ice by having a party? apparently she is so bad she has had to have supervisors with her recently! :panic: :panic:

I wouldn't do anything that stressful, stick to your usual routine, but have everything out ready for her to look at (register contracts etc)

Good luck

I'd forget the party and stick to your usual routine.

As for the attendance register you need to sort this out before Monday - it is a specific legal requirement to keep "a daily record of the names of the children looked after on the premises, their hours of attendance and the names of the children's key workers" (page 40 EYFS Statutory Framework)
