As you can probably tell i got the dreaded call today asking when i was minding and was i free next monday or tuesday. omg, arrrggggg. lots of going thru paperwork and checking every possible nook and cranny, cleaning, and all that jazz.

hey on the bright side i got a bargin today from woolies, a dora the explorer dressy up costume with some added multicultural bits, instead of being 15 quid it was down to 6. woohoo

lots of forum reading at the weekend for hints and stuff

Good luck Leanne, I had mine today and like you only been minding since Feb. It wasn't as scary as I thought it would be be. She spent ages going through my portfolio and typing up on her laptop. Like you I had a mad dash cleaning at the weekend, and ensuring everything was done.

just letting u all know i had my inspection today, she stayed for 2 hours and i got good for everything so got an overall good. looking forwad to the report coming out so i can see the full thing and what she says. im so chuffed with what i got i was so worried i was gonna get an inadequate but thats saying something about my confidence, lol.

she also mentioned that she was pleased i didnt have shed loads of folders full of policies and stuff for her to go thru and look at

hope anyone else who has inspections does well and just chill its defo not as bad as u think

i got my certificate on 29th jan this year but had to wait over a week for my ncma stuff to arrive, i officially started minding on 11th feb :-)
