OMG! Got home on Friday to an answerphone message from Mrs O saying that she will be visiting sometime during the next week. I wasn't expecting an inspection til April, so a little surprised. The weekend has been cancelled, anything that does or doesn't move has been scrubbed, and I've collated a HUGE crate of paperwork for her to cogitate over. Now, just got to deal with the butterflies in my tummy!!!

April 2008. I'd had a five month old baby for two days when I had the last (my first) inspection. I'll butter her up with the Christmas biscuits we bought yesterday.

I am surprised that she didn't ring back and speak to you in person to find out when you are available etc. My inspection was due early October and have not heard anything yet but I think I will be a bit miffed if she does not speak to me in person first to find out what my plans are.

Well Mrs O finally arrived yesterday. She gave me a GOOD  , which I am really pleased about. Then went on to say that she would rate me very very good if she could. She explained her reasons for not being outstanding, and gave me some suggestions for things to put into place. She was actually very nice too.
I'd like to thank everyone for their support and especially Sarah for her SEF e-book which helped a lot as the inspector said she already had a very good idea of my practice before she got here, and in fact it was better than she thought, and I need to blow my own trumpet a bit more (and the bonus was she was only here two hours!!). so THANKYOU everyone!:clapping:
