I am expecting my first inspection sometime in the new year but as i have just lost my full time mindee i only have one left and she is only here less than an hour before school and less than two hours after school. She is 5 in december so do i need to ring ofsted and let them know that unless i get another mindee before new year there wont be any mindees here during an inspection!
Thanks jake:)

I'd just wait for them to contact you and then explain, if they are running late in your area you might have found some more mindees before they get round to you.

Agree - wait for them to contact you - they will ask if you are minding any early years children
Penny:)
They asked me that ages ago and said someone would give me a call,my co said it wouldnt be till new year as i wont have been registered 6 months until december. So ofsted do already think that im minding early years anyway, should i still wait till they ring me?
Thanks jake:)

Hi Jake, it won't hurt to call them. Just let them know that the info you provided is now no longer valid as you now only have the school child and see what they say :)
Thanks chunky monkey,i think i will do that but i hope i get one or more new mindees soon as i want to get my first inspection over with.
Thanks again jake:)

Mrs O still visited me last Nov even with only having one mindee after school for 2 hrs-2 days a week :)
