at my pre-reg, the inspector saw I had a fire blanket, but said it wasn't good enough that I had one, it also had to be wall-mounted.
I seem to remember it being in the EYFS requirements.

Should they be renewed, had mine for about 7 years, can't see an expiry date on it?

i dont see the point in them as the fire brigade tate we should NEVER tackle a fire no matter how small, they even questioned why ofsted state it is a requirement

I was told that I have to have one as a EYFS requirement and that it has to be wall mounted.

You need one in case a child (or adult) is set alight, to smother the flames.

I think you may get marked down if you do not have one. As the others have said try and borrow one or get down to B&Q:thumbsup:

Hopefully thats the only thing I have forgotten.
