Hi,
saw this mentioned on another post and I've never heard of it.
Anyone got any details of what it is and who's eligible?

Depends where you live. I just googled it and it seems only Borough of Swindon offers it. IMHO it's a waste of taxpayers money ... I work antisocial hours btw ...

I can get it in Swindon
I don't consider it a waste of tax payers money. We have a lot of shift workers in Swindon due to large plants here, i.e. Honda, and it is an incentive to get childminders to offere flexible care and a reward for those who already do.
You have to work before 6.30am and after 7pm to be eligible and it must be a certain amount of times a week. You cannot claim just because you are willing to do it, only if you have a contract in place.
I don't get it I might add - more is the shames
