Hi,

I am registered for a few years and everytime I am looking at my certificate I am thinking what on earth does it mean:

- when caring for four or five year old children who are in full time education, may increase the number in the early years age group by the number of children in full time education, providing the maximum number is not exceeded (Early Years Register)-

So please could you clear my head please please :)

If the child is 4 or 5yrs of age and in full time nursery school or reception you can have more children in the early years age group.

I can have 3 under 5's but if one was age 4 and in reception full time they wouldn't be counted in this number they would be counted as under 8's.

Hope that makes a bit more sense!
