Hi! I'm feeling pretty lousy today with yet another cold! I'm getting them about one a month at the moment and always after caring for a ream of snotty children!
I know you can't send home children with colds but likewise I don't want to take days off for colds either! Are they inevitable as a childminder or do some of you manage to ward off the dreaded bugs with some sort of vitamin supplement?
I'll try anything!

I'm the same. I've had what feels like a permanent cold for the past 6 weeks. I've just started to take a multivitamin / mineral drink to see if that will help. I hate feeling low all the time :(

It's taken a few years but I seem to have built up a resistance now
I don't take any meds, but when all the children are full of them I do burn an antibacterial oil in my burner. Helps clear stuffy noses and seems to help ward the bugs away :)

I take echinacea (one week on and one week off) and Vitamin C and zinc effervescent tablets all through the winter.
I have a bit of a sore throat today but I think I'm fighting it so far.
I hope you feel better soon! xx
