Hi all,

I had my inspection this morning and got a good grade... just wanted to say the inspectors were very happy with my SEF and said that it reflected my practice and gave them a better idea of a 'normal' working day rather than the disruption they cause so I would recommend to everyone doing it!

Good luck to anyone with an inspection coming up!

Laura :-)

Thank you!!

I had my certificate in Feb 10, but didnt start minding until July this year, I think mine was brought forward as I requested about my 3rd variation since I have started minding (added an assistant, numbers etc) so think this prompted them to do it.

Other local childminders were due there inspection in April and still havent had it but it was there 3 yrly one so might just be because this isnt there 3rd, I would just make it a priority to complete the SEF and worry about the rest of it afterwards, my inspector seemed to use the SEF to create my grade and then during the inspector checked that what I had told them in the SEF was backed up with evidence.

Good luck x
