Hi all
I started in September and am just waiting for my 'call' to be inspected. Just wantd to ask, my 'locked file' in upstairs in my office, the upstairs of my house is not registered for childminding. Will the inspector need to go upstairs to check i have the confidential 'stuff' locked away?????
(I'm stressing, can you tell!!!??!!!)))

Had my inspection this morning and I the inspector didnt even look at the filing box I keep my paperwork in.
I got a good.
If you keep it upstairs I wouldnt think they would need to look at it.

I started last september , and it was march before my inspection . I put out all of my paperwork on the dining table for the inspector to check through. I had covered security and confidentiality of paperwork in my sef so she knew that it was kept locked away.
Some inspectors do have a quick check around non- registered rooms according to previous posts on here. My whole house is registered but she didnt check every room. It dpepnds upon who you get!

Like mama2three I had my filing box with paperwork out for the inspector to nose through, but she did see where it was normally kept when she looked around the house.
Think it will depend on the inspector whether they will want to see areas that are not registered.
Miffy xx
