Just had my first inspection and it went really well - I was graded Good in all areas which I was thrilled about. She didn't mind my 14th month old emptying her drink onto her coat! As far as I can tell it was a really sensible inspection - she wasn't obsessed with risk assessments, just flicked through them, she sat with us for the whole time on the sofa going through the paperwork but interacting with the kids as well. Didn't go into the garden - just glanced out the window, just popped her head into the bedrooms. She seemed more concerned with how I was with the kids and their learning goals. Just got one recommendation - more ICT with my toddlers, to which one mum said 'I dont want my kids on the computer!'
Now I can sleep!

Well done - and don't worry about ICT for toddlers. Mine demonstrated their knowledge during the inspection when I heated my coffee (gone cold as usual) in the microwave and they said - 'your coffee ready Penny'.
Lots of ways to demonstrate without going near the computer - so easy to reassure the parent
