Ive just had a lady ring asking if i had a vacancy for har 8 month baby, it was a quick call as she said the baby had just woke up, anyway i said yes i did she asked how much i charge if the space was for all day, i said how much i was and what discount was for a full day and full week she aked where i lived and said she had to go as baby had woken up

It just seemed like a funny enquiry, she paused as if thinking of what to say, maybe its just me i dont know but got me thinking if i charge too much.
i hope she does ring back though, then ill be just about full i think.

Sounds like she was just maybe thinking of what questions she needed to ask. If this is her first child & her first enquiry as to how much childcare costs then she might well have been genuine.

Well she may have just been a stressy mum panicking 'cos baby had just woken.
Or she may have been another minder finding out about the competition.

Do you know what the other minders in your area charge.
Anyway if you're nearly full you can't be overcharging :thumbsup:

For some people its really hard to pick up the phone and enquire and often many of them haven't a clue what to ask.
