Im new to childminding so if any one can help lots of you get paid monthly is this for 4 weeks what happens when theirs 5 weeks in a month Im not sure how to work it out should I work it out over 52 weeks of the year, please help.

i just add the extra week on to what ever month has 5 weeks

I invoice them for the month ahead as they pay in advance so i just invoicefor the amount of sessions there are in that month iyswim x

I do my fees on a weekly basis as its easier for the mums I have.

I invoice for the month... I just work out how long it is and how much they will owe me. It's not hard once you get used to it! Just sit with an calendar on one knee, a calculater at your elbow and a large glass of wine on the table. :D


Don't forget to pop into say hello and introduce yourself!

I always start with a week begining monday................

So for example April's pay would be from and including Monday 7th April - Friday 2nd May inclusive.

And May's pay would be from Monday 5th May - Friday 30th May inclusive.

And June's pay would be Monday 2nd June - Friday 4th June inclusive.

Thats how I do it anyway!
