I think that this is just from Oxford County Council and although through Surestart no official heading is on there. Check with your own CC for upddates

It's funny I was only looking at this earlier today and working out when they were going to start putting 'child protection' as well as 'safeguarding' on official documents and paperwork.
I haven't had anything through to from the Govt yet to say that it is now 'child protection' but I am starting to see the words appearing on policies and other official documents so I imagine it's only a matter of time.

This was discussed at a network meeting I went to recently - the NCMA development worker was saying that the name is changing back to Child Protection because Safeguarding causes confusion as people think it is all to do with keeping children safe (like in the home, travelling in cars - that sort of thing).
Not sure I've explained that very well but that's why.
