Since being out at toddlers Ive been left with 2 answerphone msg's for childcare.
1st one I was expecting as another childminder who is also a good friend, recommended me.
Its for a 4year old 2 days 11.30 (nursery pick up) until 4pm (maybe 3pm) & just until she starts school. The other thing is it may also be just for 1 day as MIL maybe helping out. The 2 days would be fine, 1 day bit weak really.
Also, should I suggest minimum hours here of 8 hours per week?
The other msg left no details of age, hours req etc.
Now I need to ring them both back this afternoon.
Who should I ring first & how should I play it?
Should I ring the lady who left no details & see if thats better for me before commiting myself to other lady?
Also don't really want to let other lady down as I was recommended to her meaning I'm letting my mate down.
Oh my, please help, who to phone first?
Why don't enquiries just come 1 at a time, I always get either 2 or 3 at the same time!
Thanks ladies xxx

yep, ring the second one first it may be more hours...you may be able to do both.
You can always invite them both round and then decide...
8hours/week minimum sounds like a good idea as she is taking up a space...plus is it only temporary until she goes to school? I would probably go for the other one (if it is more hours)
Good luck.

Phone them both, interview them both and pick the one that suits you best.
I would want a minimum of set hours just so MIL doesn't keep stepping in and reducing your hours.
Good luck

I tried ringing second lady again this evening but still no answer.
Didnt leave another msg as I did earlier, don't think I'll keep chasing her either, don't want to look desperate!
