Hi everyone,
The time has come...... Mrs O is coming next week :panic: :panic: :panic:
I've read through various posts and I know I must calm down, but I can't :o I know there are certain areas I need to work on and I'm trying.
What I would really like to know is what is the worse that can happen?? Can they tell me I'm totally rubbish and I'm not allowed to childmind anymore? I'm so very, very scared lol :(

The worst that can happen is that you have missed something vital and you are told to get it done within a certain time frame.
You would then be judged inadequate in that area until your next inspection... but you would have different grades in other areas.
However if you are sure that you have met all the statutory requirements of the Eyfs then it is unlikely this will happen to you.
So stop panicking! Good luck... don't forget to let us know how you get on :D

My advice. Make sure you have all permission forms signed esp. permission to take to hopsital in an emergency.
Also, they seem quite hot on complaints and equality& diversity so make sure you can cover these.

Good luck I'm sure you'll be fine x:)
Thanks guys
I've done all I can now, so what will be will be :( I'm now relaxing with a nice chilled glass of wine :D
One more question though... Do they look around your house again? My kids bedrooms aren't the tidiest bedrooms in the world and I refuse to clean up their mess :)
They only look in rooms that you use for childminding, ie downstairs rooms and bathroom. However at my last inspection I was just told to put hooks up high on the bedroom doors and keep them locked whilst I was working.

Hi I've got my inspection this week, I haven't slept properly for a week keep going over in my head all my paperwork terrified I might have missed something. I am having the same inspector as last time so at least I know what to expect. I have spent all weekend cleaning even though I know I don't need to, never mind paperwork, just having a large glass of wine it won't help but so what. Good luck with yours let us know how you get on.

I hope that it all went well. SP1, are you based in Salisbury?
