Ive had enquiry to look after another 1yr old in may/june. she is moving down to my area then for work,she is coming down next tuesday to see me, should i charge a deposit do you think and take it off her 1st month? ive not had to wait so long for a mindee to start before so not sure what to do
ill have to get a double buggy now as think will clash with other 1yr
i hand delivered over 100 leaflets last week through letter boxes and she finds me on internet!!!!!!!!!!

It's up to you whether you charge a deposit or not - if you decide to then make sure she understands it will be non refundable if she doesn't take up the place

I am hopeless with deposit questions so I never answer them, sorry! :cool:

I would take a months deposit
Get parent to sign to agree that it is off the first months childminding and that if she changes her mind then the refund is not refundable
Also I do not give my registration number out till the child starts
She could claim tax credits with that in the next few mths if you give it her - so could be claiming and you are not even minding for her yet !
