Last time i made one in the slow cooker it was far too runny and wouldnt thicken up! has anyone got a fool proof recipe that works please?

i just use the recipe from my instruction manual.
For 2.5L slowcooker
25g butter, 100g pudding rice, 100g sugar, 1L milk
Butter crockpot and then place remaining ingredients. Cook for 3-4 hours.
I usually add a sprinkle of cinnamon and nutmeg.
Both times I've made it has been delicious - even better the next day :)
If yours was too runny why not use a tiny bit less milk.

That's making me feel hungry - haven't had rice pudding for years!!!
I might try that in the slow cooker.
