I received a new registration certificate today, I hadn't asked for one.
It says what I expected only part of upstairs registered is landing and bathroom. Then further down a bit of a shock they have registered me for overnight care.
Where am I supposed to put them in the bath :clapping:

I've just rang them up and the operator had to put me through to who inspector who had very broken English and she just said "I made mistake" then silence, so I asked her could she remove it she waited and then said "yes" silence again. :)

Thats what she and the bloke who answered the phone said but her English wasn't very good and she seemed to find it hard to comprehend what I was saying that I hadn't asked for a new certificate it just arrived and that seeing as I haven't registered any bedrooms I can't provide any overnight care.

Must be the time of year for Ofsted to make mistakes
My new certificate states
EYR) may care for no more than 5 children under 8 years; of these, not more than 2 may be in the early years age group, and of these, not more than 1 may be under 1 year at any one time (Early Years Register, compulsory part of the Childcare Register, voluntary part of the Childcare Register)
(EYR) must not provide overnight care (Early Years Register, compulsory part of the Childcare Register, voluntary part of the Childcare Register)
(EYR) must not use the first floor (Early Years Register, compulsory part of the Childcare Register, voluntary part of the Childcare Register)
(EYR) must not use the garden (Early Years Register, compulsory part of the Childcare Register, voluntary part of the Childcare Register)
(EYR) must not use the first floor, except for the bathroom (Early Years Register, compulsory part of the Childcare Register, voluntary part of the Childcare Register)
(EYR) provides outdoor activities in the turfed area of the garden only (Early Years Register, compulsory part of the Childcare Register, voluntary part of the Childcare Register)
So can I use the first floor bathroom or not and are we allowed in the garden or not. :D
oh my god, it does make you laugh though, i rang for a vairation and ended up getting my numbers increased, 2 under 1, numbers ncreased when working with an assistant and it took 5 mins on the phone, yet months ago i treid for a variation and had to write a hugh letter and then 25 mins on the phone to be told yes but with restrictions, maybe they are having a mid life crisis or loosing there marbles:clapping: :clapping: :clapping:

None of my certs have ever mentioned rooms!
That means your whole house must be registered.
If you only have certain rooms registered for the children to use, then it is stated on your certificate. :)
