If someone gives notice verbally do they have to write a letter aswell?x

I would make a note of it in my diary but ask the parent to confirm in writing as required by our Contract.

If parents do not confirm in writing (which they often don't) I write out a termination letter, ask them to sign it and give them a copy. :D
