This is curiosity more than anything but are schools obliged to report accidents to Ofsted that end with a child requiring medical treatment such as a trip to A & E? xx

I don't know about the rules for older children.

Nurseries, pre-schools etc are in the Eyfs and it is a requirement of that to inform Ofsted... so they should.

Are you worried about something? xx

I think any 'serious' accident is supposed to be reported no matter what the place - ie work place, school etc. and I think its to H&S/Riddor

no they arn't

Ofsted only inspect not regulate schools

i have tried to report my sons headmaster 3 times and they are never interested....... luckily for me the dept for children and education are :D and schools must report incidents to the LEA

hope that helps
