I'm going to have a 5 year old boy with me all day today- it was a last minute thing so i have nothing planned. I usually just drop him at school and thats it. Im used to entertaining 1 year olds so im stuck with what to do with him!

Have a look at

www.dltk-kids.com

www.activityvillage.com

www.kaboose.com

www.silkysteps.com

should find plenty of ideas there. Or how about cooking, junk modelling etc.

Hope it goes well

All of the above and outdoor games

Do you have sand ? My 5 year old grandson will sit for ages playing in that

Ask the little boy what he likes doing and go from there.

Have a good day

Well Mum packed him a bag with a DS, several DVDs, a few cars and a couple of other gadgets. Hope hes not expecting to watch all the DVDs, i don't do TV during the day really!
We're off to the park later and i thought he might like to make a farm to put all our animals on. He can help make lunch too, he might like that, and maybe some bisucuits or similar.
