I had to wait for confirmation of passing my ICP before I could take in my Part 1 & Part 2. Once you have completed your ICP you usually get a mentoring session which helps with policy writing as these have to be sent in with your application form. CSSIW then waited for our CRB checks to come back before arranging to visit.
