Pie Rats Ahoy by Richard Scarry

Dr. Seuss is amazing. A few years ago, my mom and dad were moving house and we were cleaning out the attic. I came across Dr. Seuss's ABC book, went running to the front porch and said "Dad, big A, little A, what begins with A?" and he immediately replied "Aunt Annie's alligator, A, A, A"!!! We then proceeded to quote the book to each other, laughing the entire time.

He read it to me so much when I was a child that neither of us could forget it. I now read it to my DD.

Our favourite is 'I wish I had duck feet' ... the illustrations are so silly even the little ones get some of them... def on the reading list for today! :D
