Mine came today, she arrived about 9.15 and was gone by 1. Although she did stay a little longer than necessary cos she was playing with the children :D and stayed to wait until my LO that doesnt stop talking left at 12 so she could go through things with me and then another interruption when other LO woke for his lunch

My inspector arrived at 9.20 and she was gone by 11.20!!
I had written 27,000 words on my SEF and spent in excess of 30 hours on it. It was well worth it - the first thing she said to me was..." your SEF was fantastic, it must have taken you hours, and as long as I don't see anything that contradicts it I won't be here very long!"

SEF does tend to make a big difference to amount of time spent and questions asked.

Inspector was here for just over 2 hours yesterday. I hadn't been able to submit my SEF online but gave her a hard copy which she didn't read but took away to look at 'because i can see you have put alot of time and effort in'.

My inspector was with us for just over 2hrs and I had done over 5,000 words on my SEF and printed off a hard copy for her. She only asked a few questions and said it was a quick inspection as my paperwork was well organised and everytime she wanted to ask me a question she found the answer in the paperwork
I was on tenterhooks the whole time, waiting for her to ask me big complicated questions :o

Mrs O was here for exactly 3 hours 30 mins.
She did spend quite a bit of time playing with the LOs...said it was the best bit of her job.
I did 10,428 words on my SEF...Mrs o said it was one of the best and when she asked questions she based them on what i had put in my SEF..
We had a lovely time and would be more than happy to see that particular inspector again.

mine was here about 5 hours - though we did have a few interruptions as one child decided to test my first aid training for me and the kids decided to play up big time during summing up

Two inspectors arrived at 9.30am and left at 3. They were a pleasure to have in the house. One inspector was inspecting the other.

I did my SEF - 10 hours and my inspector had to be asked to leave as I had my school run to do after 5.5 hours. She was a great inspector, full or inspiration and ideas and even did the nursery run with me.
