I am looking for First Aid course for my new HB... any ideas where to look for ?

We live in London ... local cuncil would like £112... a loooooooooooot :eek:

we did ours through st johns ambulance arranged by our local childminding group

I have just done one through local council heavily subsidised for childmiders was only £10!

I need one for my partner and apparently they have 2 different prices ... any other idea then cuncil :(

St John's is worth looking into or Red Cross.

Whatever you chose make sure it is a paediatric first aid course.

I too had to pay around £112 for my early years first aid course but the Local Authority will reimburse the cost of the course upon a copy of the first aid certificate and OFSTED registration certificate.

I understand that it does indeed need to be a 12 hour course.

Speak to your local council and see if there is a course you can join on to they are usually sure start funded - otherwise enquire at local colleges but £112 is very expensive - St Johns or Red Cross is the only other options but good luck!
