Hi everyone i've got ofsted coming on monday the thing is i've been minding since Feb and my LA is rubbish in supporting their CM's so i really dont know how to do observations and planing i've booked myself onto a course but thats later in the year :( , I've also dont understand the EYFS at all and have asked to go on a course for this too but they havent got one planned for this year :( also havent done my SEF will i be penilised for it?

I am bricking it :(

HI Kelly and welcome to the forum.

There's lots of information about the EYFS and observation and planning on the forum, just have a look round the different sections.

Another good one is www.bromleycma.org.uk

The sef is not mandatory but the inspector will be looking to see how you reflect on your practice if you don't fill it in so it's worth making a start on it.
