I had a phone call from Ofsted today, asked if i was minding yet, asked the ages and said thank you I will get back to you...
What does that mean, I was thinking I would get inspected around sept time, now im worried!!

It depends on how busy they are in your area I think.

It's likely you will get a call within a week or so. :D

OMG i was just about to write the same thing i was registered 22nd april and they also called me 2day :eek: :( ive no idea either... lucky for me i dont start for another 2 mths !

NO NO NO, im not ready, im awaiting some funding as i dont have many toys etc, and there is still so much i want to do, my child in EYFS starts on the 1st of june so there wont be much to show!!!
ARGHH sleepless nights for me, and im having eye sugery so no laptop or typing in 4 weeks!!!

My friend was only minding for 6 weeks....yes 6 weeks and she had a call.
Other friend was minding for 6 months. Both only had one child each and they came out to them within 2 weeks.

I was registered in Feb and have had no call........must depend on your area. Maybe they have forgotten me! :clapping:

So do they call again to say they will be coming? I know they dont always give specific times and dates but do they at least give you an idea?

I was inspected within 3 mths of starting I think from memory it was about 10 weeks i was shocked that it was so early.

I registered December last year. Got call end of April asking about how many children etc. Came back to me last week and told them had no children but had done 1 day with lo. Came back to me today to say yes I needed to be inspected but it would only be a paper inspection. Also that I'd only get a satisfactory.

Also said that as it was a paper only inpsection I'd be able to state time & date. So Tuesday 15th June 9.30 am.

Policies are all up to day, just need to reword a couple of bits on risk assessment. I'm sure there will be bits I haven't got that I needed. Really need most of all is to do some house work, pig sty round here:) :)
