Ok this is torture and you wouldnt be allowed to do it to children or animals :angry:
Mrs O rang to say she would come one day this week, she wouldnt tell me what day so I asked if she could narrow it down abit as we go out lots so she said if she wasnt here by ten that it meant that she wasnt coming.
Every single day I was up at the crack of dawn hoovering, polishing and disenfecting. Every day I laid out the tons of paper work and did she come?
NO....
She had rung me on her mobile to arrange the appointment and I had saved the number so I called her yesterday - whoops she had taken annual leave.
How could she have booked annual leave, she had only arranged it with me the wednesday before!!! Not like she could have called to cancel:eek:

The inspector rang my dp at the start of the month... and turned up right at the end!

By the time she got here we were so laid back and just grateful she'd come it didn't phase us! :laughing:

Did she say when she was back? :D

There may have been a family emergency so that's why she took leave BUT someone should have let you know!

Same thing happened to two of my friends last year.:rolleyes: Same inspector, same week and no show. She had also taken annual leave and not bothered to cancel. :angry:

A phone call to cancel would have been polite, I hope you don't have to wait too long for her next visit. :thumbsup:

Now coming week commencing the 24th so not too long to wait.
I just want to get it over and done with so I can stop getting myself in a tizz about it!

I had my phone call two weeks and a day ago... I am still waiting for that knock at the door. The kids and I are going stir crazy!!!!

I had a call back in February, asking if I was minding and what day would be best. She then said she would call within the next two weeks. Two other childminders round here who had call on the same day as me by the same Inspector have both had theirs but i've not heard a thing and its been almost three months now!!!
