Mrs O has just called to come for my first inspection. She wanted to come last week of May but I thought that was the holidays so she said Ist week of June.
now think I may have it wrong.
I'm thrilled she has given me this much notice as we are in a mess with all the floors being redone.
She said not to worry about how I am doing the EYFS, I told her that it is the part that terrifies me and as I am not a teacher I have no idea how to do it, she will check it for me. She also asked if I have started my SEF.I said no but I had read on this forum that it took about 2 weeks so I will start it now.

My heart is racing:eek:

Printer keeps packing up so have sent sarahs book to my DH to print at work.

I did my SEF but inspector (who came today!!) hadn't seen it, she looked at it while she was here. :)

i just wanted to say i was in ur position last week, i didnt know until i had my inspection where i was doing things right as not had much in put from anyone else but with the help of sarahs e books and past experience i managed it. the sef took me three nights to complete so everyone is different and i read on here all the comments of not panicking before my own inspection, when it was over i wondered why i worried so much!! Ofsted are there to help as much as examine so good luck to you and try not to panic!

Thanks for the replies. Yes half term is the as everyone else. Do you think I need to phone and let Mrs O know that I got it wrong. My children are all term time only except for 1?

Yes, I would phone and double check with her.

Is the one child you have in the holidays within the EYFS ? If so it may be a good thing to have your inspection with only the one child, less stressful.
