As im thinking of having before and after school children 5 and above, if I stay registered, will parents still be able to get working family tax credits? Do I still have to have an inspection? If so, as I won't be doing eyfs, what will the inspection entail?

I have all my documents up to date, first aid, safeguarding, risk assessments and policies but am due my inspection next year and am due to start a DHC course but don't know if I want to spend next two years (one sat a month) doing a course. Im assuming if I mind over 5's I won't have to do the course?

You have to register on the compulsory part of the childcare register when you care for children aged 5 who were outside the EYFS up to the age of 8, you could only register under the voluntary part if you were caring for children 8 and above.
