am i right in thinking i can't apply for a variation until I've been graded??

also is this continuity of care? i have D (almost 2) on monday Wednesday and Thursday mum want's to up to full week i don't think they'll let me on Tuesday as i have two 18mnths and dd who's 2 but on a Friday i would only be over my numbers for hour and a half ? is it continuity of care as she's already settled in with me and it's better she is only at the one setting? or am i missing the point? none of them are siblings  also not a lot of childcare around here so mum thinks she can get family member to help out on the Tuesday but is stuck on the Friday .

I think you can apply for a variation anytime... just think it may attract their attention and bring Ofsted out to inspect you sooner :) ... as far as i know, anyway. It would be continuity of care so as long as you don't go over your overall under 8 numbers you ought to get it I would think, so long as you show how you'll meet everyone's needs ...

Good luck
