I currently only have schoolies which won't be needing me hardly at all this summmer holiday. I am therefore advertising my vacancies for this period. However I can only mind one Early Years child ( & 3 over this age) but I think some families at My DD pre-school might want me.

Can you apply for a variation without having been approached for the places?

Not as far as I know Tealady. When you apply you need to give specific times the children will be attending plus names and dates of birth on a grid so they can see what children you have when.

the understnading i have (which might not be right) :blush: Is that if it's for new buisness then they wont grant you a variation. Where as if it's for conuity of care then they might grant it. I'm sure someone will come along and give you more information
